Showstoppers Dance Group

Showstoppers is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1994 and provides students with opportunities to grow as dancers and as performers while exploring various types of dance such as jazz, lyrical and tap. Under the guidance of their Artistic Director, Teneka McHenry, dancers are able to experience the rewards of performing and promoting dance in their community.
Showstoppers Dance Group is an active member of the South King County Cultural Coalition (SKCCC) and the Federal Way Coalition of the Performing Arts (FWCPA). The latter was organized in 1989 to promote and raise funds toward a 1,000-seat performing arts center in Federal Way. Visit the site for details about the drive for a PAC in Federal Way, as well as information about participating performing groups, of which Aria and Showstoppers are both members.

Thank YOU!
Many thanks to all who worked so hard to make the Showstoppers show of 2008 a success and to the dancers for a wonderful job. The standing ovation at the show's conclusion made all the work and all the dancing worthwhile!
DVDs of the show are ready and priced at $12. There is also a rehearsal photo DVD for $6; order forms are at the studio lobby.
